BORDER FARM

KAYA’S TEA TIME BAKERY
We have Apprentice and Internship positions on our farm for eight months out of the year.
Kaya is our July Intern and has been immersed in all of our farm systems as well as baking sourdough bread, and other food preservation projects.
Harvesting raspberries, milking goats, tending to the ducks, hauling manure, she has been learning a lot. And it seems to come together for her in the kitchen with her love of nourishing food and baking.
She is premiering her KAYA’S TEA TIME BAKERY at this weeks TUESDAY NIGHT MARKET – local regenerative flours, fresh ground grains, ancient grains, all fermented into perfect Sourdough Loaves – Come support a new artisan baker!
TUESDAY NIGHT FARM MARKET – 5pm – 8pm. Sourdough Bread, Starter, Starter Kits – KEFIR, Teas, and herb salts

PAWS & PEOPLE

Your PSA for the Week!
Please do not let your children babysit your dog or your dog baby sit your children.
It 100% of the time will go wrong, a little or a lot.
Whomever pays the bills, buys the food, and drives to the veterinary is in charge of management for both dogs and children.
Bottom line, it is a lot of work on parents, but structure, rules, and management count and the outcome is a mature household one day that is peaceful and respectful, and filled with planned adventures.
