Rafqa – It is time for her new forever home

The WAPF journal that comes out quarterly is one of our favorite publications to receive in the mail. They are all good, but for sure some better than others. This quarters is super good, and some of the best book reviews I can remember. I fully appreciate the review of GERM IN THE DAIRY PAIL, it is my favorite book of 2025. You can purchase the journals through their website, and if you become a member they come right to your mail box each quarter with your membership.

Vaccines, health, herbs, nutrition – all things we talk about on the daily with people getting into natural rearing or those already deep into this world. It is important to share information, teach others, and listen to all of the things.

Truth be told I could wax poetically about any one of these topics in regards to any mammal being naturally reared. The ins & outs, the what is real and what is marketing, the time tested practices of my great grandparents, and our animals. Simply put, our animals are the least confusing part of my day.

Our farm is a reflection of this knowledge, the energy it brings to our animals, the health that is palpable, in any direction you turn.

If you would like to learn more (the real stuff), have a deeply educational experience, work hands on – we would love to work with you.

CLASSES

RAFQA

Purebred registered English Shepherd

Intact female

65-70 pounds

Four years old at the end of February 2026

She has basic obedience, trick training, agility training, therapy dog training, and had some introduction to sheep

She knows at least 100 words

Her home is in town with a large yard

Shares her home with a Doodle Companion

Does great with off leash walks in off leash areas – no dog parks

She is a good representation of the English Shepherd –

  • She comes from working lines, and is a great example of a true working dog
  • She requires significant mental stimulation and daily physical exercise to keep her mind and body healthy
  • She is extremely responsive to training and will offer mimic behaviors to help determine what you are asking of her
  • She is creative and has made up her own games.
  • She is very social and seeks out both people and dogs
  • She is appropriately protective and has the English Shepherd guarding behavior, both to people and place – she does not want a fast approach from unknown men and gives appropriate warning cues

She is a very loved dog in our home, but it is time for her to step into her true potential which we cannot offer any longer.

Serious enquiries only.

No first time dog owners, experienced only.

Will be interviewed, we want her to go to the home of her dreams and will interview until we find it.
