It’s the little things. Truly.
I can go weeks stuck in the big stuff at work. All well intentioned, but just a lot. It can feel like being in a behavioral blender of sorts, emotional vertigo.
And then I have a moment with my dogs, a little something, that clears my mind of everything other than the sound of my dogs feet, in motion, touching something, jumping and landing, skidding to a halt, prancing, it’s the sound of their movement. It’s so calming to me, so satiating, and pure. And it is just that little thing. Foot falls.
And then life is even again, it’s like a deep breath. Nancy
